Right now I’m only wanting to create flat docks roughly in the same shape as the real world. Once I get the hang of it I can branch out with my skill.

If it's building a port using an existing map with existing objects I do have a fairly simply video on how to create a port.

If you want to be able to add custom objects then your'll need to understand how to use Sketchup or another building software to create the objects and export/convert them to VSNG.

If want to use a whole new map for your ports this can be done but will require another video/guide to do so.
