I had similar problems with Microsoft Edge. the files were not even downloaded. So I switched browser and no more messages from Microsoft telling me this file will damage my computer.

Good to see. I guessed the load would have to be increased as VS does not have the ability of pumping water into the tanks and out as required to maintain stability. Interesting ! I have been having similar problems with ships from VS OG and VSF. Some, when loaded appear half submerged in any scenery and some are on top of the water , I have been increasing the load to get the ship to the correct level. I shall have to look a bit more closely at the water level....

A small update to my previous post.
The ability to allocate functions to keys is great.
IMO "scenery" is missing from the "change" drop down menu.
In the "New" Situations page Add Scenery should be included.

I got to load the scenery as well. I just renamed the .bin file . I could never find .hdr. looks superb , just the water is high. Now to adjust the depth.

Unfortunately, I never got editing the files, I could not see them at all.
I downloaded one of the ships and again never managed to get it to load in VSF. Like you, I think these are marvellous models and it is a pity we can't get them to work in VSF.

I had not downloaded the scenery yet but I will soon.

This a very extensive list and long awaited improvements towards realism. As you say some of these have already been implemented in Ilan's other works. I'll wait to see what is included in the beta before adding my ten cents worth.
