Liveries on Mike summer's boats

Hi,
I playing with Mike Summer Harbor Patrol Boat and i love this boat very similar to USCG class defender.

I find that the boat is very sensitive when I put the throttle and I have to sail in flat water (without waves) otherwise the boat will crash. But his behavior isn't terrible either, I feel like he's hitting a concrete wall and the movements should be smoother. I don't know if anyone has a patch on it or if Mike Summer is still active on VSF and VS-NG.

However, I had fun making small variants of the generic American police and sheriff liveries. Which happens that in real life the defender class is used for the police, sheriff and also the US navy and the USCG of course.
I also find that making skins for certain ships is very particular and difficult to achieve. It is not a simple painting to do on a UV but this one is an exception.

Hi!

regarding the Chinook try tuning these variables in "vehicle.cfg":

[hydro_cruise] - cruise speed of boat with hydrofoils (kt) use 0 for boats without hydrofoils.
[hydro_angle] - angle of pitch for boat with hydrofoils (rd ) use 0 for flat planning.
[hydro_alt] - height of waterline above keel for boat at cruise speed (m).

If[ hydro angle] is nul, it's quite smoother but no more nose lift; on the other hand, if you only increase [hydro_cruise] dramaticaly it gets quite smoother too.

In VS NG my choosen setup is:
43.34 [hydro_cruise]
0.08 [hydro_alt]

Then you must create a performance profile where you will limit the boat max speed (for example 23.34kts which is the original value).

Hi,

I finally found the problem yeah i change values on vehicles.cfg for habor patrol defender class and Chinook 2.
I even add strobe light for Chinook 2 and fix some placement lights too.
I even make NYPD skin for Denfender class and add new sounds like engine.

I noticed an bother thing in defender class: Strobe light. When you turn on the strobe lights, the light flashing in same time. And i want alternate the lights like: flash left, flash right, flash left, flash right. like a police car. That's possible or not ?

The next projects will be:

- U.S. Coast Guard liveries.
- U.S. Custom and Border Patrol liveries.
- Other Pilots liveries (USA).
- other police liveries (USA).


I would very much like to release them so that you can enjoy them too, but I don't know if I have the right. These are liveries on models that come from another person (Mike Summer). As I don't know if I can ask him because I don't know he is still active in the VSNG and VSF community. If someone can tell me if I can or not.

In the meantime, admire these well-detailed images.

- New motors design Honda VTEC 4-Strokes 225 HP (1-motor).
(NYPD is Evinrude E-TEC 225 HP-1 motor).
