Open Hamachi-network

Postby Andymahn » Sat Jul 19, 2008 3:27 pm

Hello community,

I created a Hamachi-Network called "Virtual Sailor Germany".
The idea was, to meet people around the world, sailing together and share informations.
Welcome is everybody who is interested in realistic seatraffic. (all kinds of ships, no rammings, piracy etc.)
Feel free to host and join.
It whould be great to see some of you at the network.

1.Download Hamachi at http://hamachi.en.softonic.com/

2.Install, register and join the network. Network: "Virtual Sailor Germany" Password: please PM me

3.Start first Hamachi and than Virtual Sailor

I use Hamachi and VS since 2006 and it works fine.
Sometimes you couln't connect at the regular way, then you must type the host-Hamachi-IP manualy in the destination IP field.

For suggestions, questions and sessions feel free to post here.

Best regards

Thanks to Hein and Andymahn for initiating this. It DOES work.

And I don't mean to steal their thunder, but I have also set up a Hamachi channel called "Virtual Sailor with Teamspeak". If you'd like to join, please PM me, and I'll send you the password.

As the name implies, this channel is for VSailors who also use Teamspeak for their online sessions.
