I am posting here as I think it is more appropriate and also not to hijack Jon's thread. I have been reading up on HAMACHI. it sounds like a useful tool to create your own virtual private network. A bit like teamspeak i.e everyone in your "group or trusted friends " must have it installed. You have to tell them your network name and password. - Just like Teamspeak. However, a cheaper (resource wise) solution is the one we currently use. We do not tick the display my IP address box. Therefore no one knows our IP or whether we are hosting a session. Our "friends" who have indicated their wish to join sessions either by PMs , r announcements, log on to Teamspeak at the RDV hour and obtain the IP address and other info at that time. No on knows there is a session going and hence no hijackings. I know this works. It is sad that we have to do this in order to enjoy an online session.
