A simple tutorial

Post by TheOtherCorey »

So there's plenty of models out there, but after doing a bunch of googling, I'm coming up blank.

What is the best way to actually go about exporting a model into the game. I mod American Truck Simulator, and have been modding games for years, so I'm usually able to figure things out on my own, however this one has me stumped.

Many people use Trimble SketchUp for modeling, and then Deep Exploration for converting it to .x filetype.

10 years ago there was possibility to use freely a plugin called 3D Rad for SketchUp, which I used for converting of port and buoy models, but a lot of time has passed since the days.

Thank you for the reply! I have used Zmodeler for the past few years, but sadly that's one format that it won't export to.
