Converting from maya 2011

I have autodesk maya and I have designed several models with interiors. However, I am having problems convertng these models for virual sailor. I will be grateful for any help given.

i do not use maya at all but, have you tried exporting them? if it still doesnt work then look for a conversion plugin. hope it helps

there is no conversion plug for converting to virtual sailor . Do you know any software which can be used.

if maya can export to .x format that is the format virtual sailor uses

I don't think there is a plug in for Maya to convert to .X unfortunatly. If you have any access to 3ds max then you could import the model into 3ds max and then use the panda plug in to convert to .X . Also I think the Deep Exploration program can convert to .X but I am not sure of that. Perhaps others can confirm this.

I suppose I could try deep exploration. Let me try that out first and if it does not work, perhaps I wil try 3DS max. Thanks For the help

As far as I am aware the Panda xporter is developed for 3ds max and so does not work with Maya.
