ADDING A DOCK IN FROM THE QUALITY SIM. LIBRARY

Postby loganevh » Thu Oct 11, 2012 12:35 am

Hi All,

I've extracted the files for a dock from the Quality Simulations add on site, but I have no idea where to place the files. I know its not a boat and not scenery. I saw a similar post, but instructions were unable to be found. Can someone help out how to add...thanks much all.

Hi there,

Welcome to the forum!

The object you downloaded needs to be put into a scenery folder of your choice. However the object you downloaded might not work with VS.

To get the dock to work you need to add it to the scenery yourself. Sadly I do not know how to do this on vs as it is too complicated.

however you might find something under "scenery design" under the main VS site.

I do highly recommend upgrading to VSF though seeing as nearly every vs addon works with vs. And Vs hasn't been updated in nearly 6 years.

Hope this helps

Robert
