Hi,

In Piraeus we have two small drydocks with animated doors, but they are only for small ships.
The QM2 is a very big ship and i have found no dry dock in this area.
But in Piraeus you will find a mooring place for these kind of Cruiseliner at the Terminal B (pier length 390 m).

Hi,

it's time for a small update! Here you can see a small test with some Ships in the Port of Piraeus.
Sorry for the poor quality, the original is in full HD and has a much better quality.

There are still missing a few buildings and many small details. The same with the Port of Athen.
More about this comes soon.

I am pleased about your opinions and ideas to the area.

Regards

Many thanks,

oh yes, of course it's for virtual Sailor, but this is an very old engine.
for the final scenery i need a modern engine, so it is time to look for new opportunities.
Possibly VS 8 or another modern engine??? we will see. ;)

Hello,
Very impressive. I sailed out of Piraeus to the islands of Naxos and Sifnos last September and the accuracy and level of detail is stunning, and the result of a considerable amount of work and time! Are all the buildings surrounding the harbour 3d? Or are the ones further back 2d? Fantastic work ;)

Many thanks for your very nice comment.

I am very pleased to hear It from someone who was already in Piraeus. I was unfortunately not in Piraeus, but in the Future I will make it.
I have seen the Harbour in Vs and than a Picture from the original Area. So I thought wow, It would be nice to have these big Ferry Harbour here. This was the beginning of this Projekt.

Back to your Question. Yes, most of the Buildings you have seen are 3D but unfortunately not all. I have to look at the performance. It's not good to have a nice Port or Ship and no one can play with this addon. So I must enter some compromises. ;)

With this Addon we will release some new ships. These Ships would be optimized for good performance in the game. So It should be possible to play with many ships in this Area. But more about this comes soon.

Best Regards
