Whenever a new version of VS is released there will be the need for bug reporting etc. This is where you would do that, nothing else!

Hi all

Ilan has allowed me to share with you some screenshots of how the next version of VS "may" look.

First here's a shot of the difference between existing VS resolution (bottom image) and the new resolution (which I believe will be 10 m/px)

Here's our trusty Ranger, notice the shadows both onboard and on the sea bottom.

And here's just one that I thought looked really great. I know it's not really VS related but it was such a great atmosphere. Notice the shadows from the trees. I think shadows will be a huge improvement in the next release.

Beautiful eye candy! Let's hope the functionality sees the same quantum jump.

It's important to remember that the engine that is being created for VS8 is the same engine that will be used for MF. Therefore there are features that may be available in VS but disabled in MF and visa versa so the roads may be for MF, since they are part of the visible scenery you see from above.

I hope there will be more screenshots available soon of other features that are not just "eye candy". Let's give it some more time.

And I agree with you phil, there is only one way to make these screenshots atually mean anything, to see if it will be better in working than VS7

please Ilan give us some more information on the workings of the game and tell us what things are going to make it better apart from the graphics to version 7

speech over, cool I'm going to bed
