Texture formats accepted by VSF

Hi guys,

I'm trying to model my first small addon for VSF. Still taking hurdles in Blender for the time being...
I'd like to export it later for use in VSF amongst other so I'm thinking about the type of files to use to make it easier to release for different platforms.

I already need your expertise...
I see that my installed vehicles all use .jpg textures.

What other formats are accepted by the VSF engine?
Bmp, png, dds??

Regards,
Sylvain

Aloha.

The following I know can be used in VSF.
.bmp - .jpg - .dds and png.
Bitmap and png are good for transparent backgrounds.
Bitmap transparencies need an [ _ ] inderscore in the name. Not the case with .png.

I have read that DDS files will speed up the GPU.
However in tests I saw no improvement at all. And they are larger files.

Hope that helps.
