Hi All,

Finally back at work. :D

Here is the USS Plunger. The third submarine of the Thresher/Permit class. All parts of the exterior model are done.
Only the textures are still work in progress. Specular and bump maps also in progress.

Looks good, my only critique would be, it needs some aerodynamics on the sail. You have it too straight on top, it should have a bit of a "hump" or a slight curve

Hope that makes sense.

Hi,

thx for the comments. Yes, you're right, Nemo! ;)

Hey Scott, here is a picture from the bow view. I hope the rounded sail is visible. But the sail is to wide.
PS. I will send you a Testversion very soon (for VS). :)

Marko, that looks great, yeah it looks a little too wide and maybe too short?

but I meant front to back rather then side to side.

Can't wait to get it

Ah ok...I'll try to improve the sail. But the length should be ok. The first units of the Tresher / Permit class had very small sails.I think the last three subs of this class had a larger sail.

this is what I meant, it looks like the plunger has a slightly less "curve" then the Ohio but still there

Hey Scott, you're right! The sail has a slightly curve at the end of the sail. I will correct the sail structure before i send the files to you.
