RMS MAURETANIA

Another superb model originally built by Kevin that is now being relentlessly reworked and completed in my virtual shipyard since a few days.
The task is actually gigantic before the final release as a payware, hopefully in a not too distant time.

Progresses so far:

Very nice, though I can see a problem with the bow. You have rounded it when it should have a stem, it also increases in thickness along the vertical axis where it shouldn't. There might also be something wrong with the stern, can we see the wireframe?

Thanks all for your comments.

Yes I know that Patrick (and you're right of course), I had noticed that after having posted the above shots when I closely studied my own documentation when working on other parts of the liner. The original model needs some corrections on some areas but that's not a big deal, and, in spite of these few areas, it is overall very accurate since originally modeled from plans and hull lines by Kevin who had produced a fabulous work.
I've already planed to rework the extreme part of the bow for a more pointy one as well as to redo the top of the stern for a more vertical and slightly taller shape there. I had already reworked the lower part of the stern before capturing the above few screenshots. Being a fierce defender of as much accuracy as possible when I model a real thing, all these corrections plus some other ones will be made soon, as well as adding more details to the original model, on top of completely retexturing and remaping it.

Welcome back here by the way Patrick.

Ah, good good. And thanks for the welcome! Kevin's work was very very lovely, it's a shame it disappeared. I'm looking forward to this one! This game could do with more older ships like the Mauritania. Actually it could do with more ships in general.

Thanks Patrick and MVEsperanza.

So, I've rebuilt the extreme bow (some details are still missing) and the hull trims. Quite a time and several tries were necessary for an "acceptably accurate" result, I mean for the trims and the mess that put into the original mesh of the hul, not for the general shape of the new bow itself:
