Ha,
That sounded like I was fed up with ATHENA.

Far from it.

I can hardly model her any more as I seem to be sailing her all the time.

Lovin' her.

John, a free and kind advice.
Dont rush things, it will be ready when its ready. and when there is something new to report,it wil come soon enough.

Kind regards,

Howdy...

I got waylaid with real work again.
And a horrific abcessed tooth. Kind of took the fun out of things.

I have been finishing up boring stuff that most probably wouldn't notice.
Furled rigging, boom fittings lazyjacks etc,
And texture mapping teak rails and the like.

Also cleaning up the model to try and get her ready for launch.
So there really isn't a lot to show.

Still have some block and tackle to add.
I'll be sending an almost final optimized version to Sailor John for sea trials later today.
As again he's my go to guy for what works.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that she may be available for Charter/Sale within 3 day's.
Just don't hold me to that.

The separate Zodizk launch (shareware) will be about a week or two after ATHENA is finished.

By the way, someone has chartered her out of the carribean. Last I checked she was moored on Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
Must be nice to be able to aford 425,000 per week.!! And you just know they chartered her for at least two weeks.

Aloha.
I knew this would happen.
More real work...
So, another couple of days until launch. Sorry about that.

A QUESTION....
I have read that DDS files, especially DX5 mip mapped and with normals speeds up the graphics processor.
Even thought the files are about 2/3's larger.
I have done a quick test. I really didn't notice much of an improvement.
That was with DX3. And the quality was not up to par.
I know that DX5 is a perfect rendition.
Any inpuit???

You guys amaze me. I'm at a loss for words here...

I just got this simulator and still trying to figure it all out but every time I start it, or come here and see screen shots like these I'm just floored.
