Good to see the scenery weapons working without a hitch now. Haven't noticed anything else yet.

The issue with the oversized and too far foreward bow wake and max two prop wash isn't fixed yet, I hope he'll do something about it until the next update. I suggested parameters for placing and scaling of bow and stern wash.

I agree. Given the variety of boat sizes, some control over the size and position of the bow wave would be very welcome.

Hi itsme,

The dds in boat directory works, but it seems you have used a dds of the wrong format, check that it is with transparent layer, for example a8r8g8b8 or dxt5, etc.. it is not enough to save the file as dds it must be with alpha layer as well.

About parameters to bow wave and prop splash i will add these on the coming update.
however clever use of the bsplash.dds in boat directory can give an amazing variety of results please try that.
Thank you,

Ilan Papini

Thanks Ilan for your reply. I am using Paint.NET which allows the settings you suggested. Unfortunately without any change to the better. This graphic stuff goes beyond my average computer skills.

Anybody else making a try?
Cheers, Reino.

Hello everybody,

Good to see new updates, Ilan, thank you for your work and all the others for testing and commenting.

I have some concerns about the bowsplash as well but need to experiment with it.

Another issue I have is with Axeonalias' L'Aurore. With 2.4.7 she has transparent, i.e. missing portholes, you can just see through.

Does anybody have an idea what the reason for this might be? I have not tried all models with 2.4.7 and will post if I encounter similar problems with another model.

Cheers
Hans
