Rotating wheels

Rotating wheels

The vehicle mesh file could contain the part named 'gear'. It is the copy of the first frame in the gear.x file.

• when the gear is down, 'gear' is shown and the wheels can rotate.
• when the gear is retracting or up, 'gear' and the wheels change to gear.x animation (like fast prop changes slow prop).

You can see it right now using the components. Place gear.x animation file into the component folder and describe it in the component.cfg.
The animation doesn't work and the wheels rotate.

So the program should load gear.x animation when the gear moves and should change it to the first frame when the gear is down.

The feature is implemented in the Version 2.6.3 of Vehicle Simulator :!:

Hello,

Yes : very more realistic ! I talked to Ilan about this point, as for the flames...

2.6.3 has also great improvements for the frame rate and use of normal maps. 8-)
