Editing way points in VSF

Postby ilan » Tue Nov 01, 2011 8:15 am

Dear All,

Following a question i received, i wish to explain how way points are edited on the map and associated
with each boat/vehicle in Vehicle simulator.

In Vehicle Simulator waypoints are associated with each boat / vehicle, so you have
to take special care when defining them on the map:

To define waypoints for a specific boat

1. select that boat first ( pick upon it on the map ), you will see the waypoints of this vehicle appear on the map.

2. edit and move those points by pressing edit button and then selecting and moving each point.

3. when done editing press on a blank part of the map to deselect your boat, and the waypoints of all boat will appear.

4. to define a new waypoint deselect the edit mode ( must be turned off ) then select the boat you wish to add waypoint to, and then select the place you wish to add waypoint and press "Add".

I attach a few pictures to make this clearer, remeber to edit waypoints of a boat it must be selected, to add or remove to this boat it must be selected and edit turned off, to add to all no boat is selected.

Thank you,

Ilan Papini
