Pretty eerie, Jon! I like it!
I went for a bit of a sail. I took Maybelle and an un-named schooner to this island. The schooner went to the mouth of the river on the south side, and I took Maybe around the mountains on the west to the cove in the north. It was great. Atmospheric, too; I had seagulls flapping about, creaky board ambience for the boats, Caribbean music playing in the background

But you shouldn't be jealous at all! If you have VSF and you correctly set its graphic options and colors as well as the ones of your computer, you should obtain something comparable or better. All my hardware is more than 4-year 1/2 old, so I bet most people here should be able to obtain something with graphic realism in mind if they keep that notion of realism before all.
