Game freezes when opening
It's been happening since I got the last Windows 11 update, whenever I open the game, it just doesn't let me do anything, the home page pops up, but I can't click anything, besides in the taskbar the game doesn't show as open, whereas in Steam it says it's running, does anyone know how to fix this or maybe why is it happening?

Re: Game freezes when opening
I solved it by simply using dgVoodoo. I added the x64 d3d9.dll into the Virtual Sailor NG folder and added it into dgVoodoo's control panel, then set the VRAM to my specific video memory amount in my computer, and it works fine in fullscreen now.
Since Ilan's passing last year, we'll have to see if some kind soul would be able and willing to take over his work and kick it back into action...
Edit:I might also add that I'm now using Vulkan and it works much better than DirectX9. The only problem I stumbled upon is that when moving to a different point on the map it suddently drops to 8 frames per second... no idea why.
Edit2: I solved it quickly by either doing any of the following:
1. Pausing the simulation
2. using the feature "Break & Sink" and then "Repair".
