Following the deluge of multiple items/user on the wishlist, we have decided to reintroduce the guidelines initially created for VS.They are at the top of the page. Please do not include comparisons with other products as most users will not have a clue of what you mean.

Hi DM
After reading the thing on the VSF website I found this line
The program supports also one optional DAMAGE file which is used when the vehicle is broken, this file is called broken.x

I have not tried it out myself yet but will be trying it tonight and will post the results here

Edit:
I have just created a damage model of one of my locos by removing the buffers and naming it broken.x then placed it in the vehicle folder then loaded it. I set up a situaltion where my loco was heading straight for a building, Before the crash the loco had buffers but as soon as the loco hit the building the vehicle said it was broken and it was missing the buffers and it is an instant change with no loading and seems to work quite well so it turns out VSF supports damage models

Ah now I see what you are meaning. So for example you have a plane where the wings detatch in flight (damage1) then the tail detaches due to the stress (damage2) then the aircraft hits the ground and explodes with parts going everywhere (damage3)
Am I correct
by the way do any of your released models feature the damage model

I'm posting this because I would like to (and I think some other people here) receive an answer - will these features be implemented, and when? If anyone could answer specifically ("this and this feature will be implemented on this and that date", "this feature will be implemented with no known date", "this won't be implemented") then we, humble users, would know better what to expect, and what not to.

Please comment.

Ilan tries to look at all suggestions and implements , if they can be but he never says they can't - just in case. They usually are included in releases as and when without previous announcements and sometimes as patches to resolve a particular problem.
