Hi,
There's no "inbuilt" screenshot button. You just use the PRTSC button on your computer (Print Screen), once pressed (alternatively, you can go SHIFT+PRTSC to screenshot only the window, not the entire screen), and then open your image editing program (Even Microsoft Paint!) and then paste the image in, and save

A question for the experts...

On my old PC, running XP Pro, I could take VSF screenshots in full-screen (ie, not in window) or windowed...no problems. My latest PC running Win7/64 only seems to be able to capture screenies when windowed, not full-screen. I've tried PrtScn, Shift + PrtScn, Ctrl + PrtScn, Alt + PrtScn...same result...blackout. PrtScn works fine in window mode. Any ideas how to capture full-screen? I realize I can print windowed and edit out the window border, tool tray, etc...but I never had to in XP Pro!

I use a program called "Screenhunter" and capture any size screen I want...

Thanks, Spook...took a look, seems promising. Might give it a try. But it bugs me that a simple PrtScn stroke was all I needed in XP Pro to capture VSF screenshots, regardless of whether full-screen or windowed. And Win7/64 is supposed to be an improvement; so why then do we need non-MS proprietary software to capture a simple full-screen shot!?! Doesn't make sense. Bill Gates makes billions from this and now we can't take a simple unedited full-screen shot!?! Arrrrgh

There is a free tool included in Win 7. It is called snipping. I have not used it in full screen mode but in a window that takes up the whole screen-.

Thanks, Victor. I tried it...catch-22...it will take a full-screen clip...but you have to access the snip interface in window mode! Couldn't get it to take the VSF full-screen shot...it took desktop instead! Of course I can take a screenie in windows mode and edit out the border...but the result is a smaller image with less detail than full-screen. Man, I miss XP Pro!!!
