Not true. Hud's Titanic works just fine in VSF, as long as you click 'simple mesh' option.

Clicking "Simple Mesh" in Vehicle/Options tab prior to loading a hi-poly vehicle like Hud's Titanic prevents large texture files from overrunning GPU buffers before model is loaded. So even the 'platinum' version with full interior loads and runs just fine in VSF.

Yeah, which brings up a question, why is that option not the default. The tick for that box should be reversed (with all new vehicles being at the top of the poly range for the mesh)?
Food for thought.

Ilan tried it, Ron. I think the problem is that when clicking 'simple mesh', you lose 'effects' in VSF...the .bumps like water droplets, reflective chrome, rust pitting, etc. So it's sort of a tradeoff between loading ultra hi-poly models, and getting all the VSF eye candy. Dom was the first to notice loss of effects with simple mesh.

I tried but it didn't work.

I'm not sure what you mean by "Didn't work." Is the problem that the ship doesn't load...or only partly loads? I get the impression the problem is that the night lighting is moving within the ship. Make sure Autosail is off. I believe that model uses sail.f for interior lighting, so the 'sail' will move the light array to relative wind unless A/S is off.
