Hi Esperanza,

one important point to create a good addon, you need time for it. ;) You could build a good ship in a few Days, thats no problem, but to add it into the game needs much more time.

Lights, working Instruments, Bump and reflection maps or animated things like Doors, ramps....! Over these, you need a good Dynamic and collision. A good Lod modell is also important.
It's a nice Ship and I think it could be the first good addon with a modern Cruise Liner. So take the time you need. ;)

And yes, if you need help, please post the problem. Here are a lot of experts for Ship design, Dynamics and much more. And I am sure that you will get help. ;)

Regards

Thor

Perhaps you have the feet values versus the meters ones that are the cause of that (VS works in feet, VSF in meters as elementary unit for models). Perhaps introducing a scale factor into the vehicle.cfg if you've modeled in feet in SketchUp would solve that, if that's the problem you have of course, because you don't give us that much details there, so I can only make a supposition.

And Thor2 is very right there. From what I can see from your screenshots and from what I understand from your various words in your posts as well as from your previous projects, that addon is far to be releasable yet. Take your time, work out things first, improve, optimize and set your standards higher (accuracy of modeling and textures wise), work out a correct dynamic behaviour as well. Compare the various shapes modeled with the true ones (some members have provided real photos to you for that) and correct them. Then a public release would be in order perhaps, but not before, at least IMHO.
Not a critic, an advice.

Dom.

Thanks Dom, I did model in FT so how can i convert the ship over into Meters?

Yes im going to take my time on release

As i said earlier:

2 Radars rotating radars are being put in
2 Azipods are in
Lights are going to be put in for windows
Steering Wheel Like QM2's by Murdochs

Question about the lights.... Do i have to delete the windows off the model or can i keep them on the model and just copy the windows and export them as a light file or is that not going to work?

But Release Isn't Very Far Behind, Although i do need to find some good textures for the Hull I like Huddizles Poseidon Hull textures and he said i could use any textures just you know give credit so i might do that
