roads on sloped terrain

Postby madnewf » Wed May 09, 2012 6:20 pm

hi i was wondering is there and easier way to build roads on hillsides , in VSF if the terrain is flat its no problem but my terrain has many hills , i tried using the matrix editor but its a nightmare when it comes to hilly terrain, something like easy roads which i used in unity 3d would be great here , as for now im am trying to build my roads in sketch up http://i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p493/madnewf/sketchuproads.jpg but its not much fun and time consuming here and in game shot with no textures applied so you get the idea of what im doinghttp://i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p493/madnewf/ingameroad.jpg if there are any easier ways of doing this i would love to here about it , in the matrix editor its to hard to judge where the roads go without and overlay or something, thanks for reading any help is always welcome..
