Disney dream & Disney Fantasy V2: Released! 21/08/12

Postby RobbyNeath » Tue Jun 12, 2012 1:04 pm

Hey all,

I though seeing as there are a few "problems" with the sisters so I've decided to restart them from an earlier stage before I started taking out the windows for lighting.

Including in the new release will be: lights, bridge interior, artwork details on both the bow and stern.

Will post pics soon.

also will you be fixing the Underwater hull? because if you zoom in to it you can see that its the Disney Magic model that you have just added on to. have you gotten permission to do this?

Disney Magic hull? The hull is completely seperate all I've done to it is repaint it. I do have permission for the ship.

When I downloaded the old shape model, I was going to use her as a personal file, due to copyrights ect ect. But I've decided to give this model a complete new life for the virtual world. I've been working in this ship for the past 3-4 months.

UPDATE!!

Update!

So far both the Disney Dream & Fantasy have their stern and Bow artworks in place, I have also been adding more lighting to the bridge.

The only know problem with the lights so far is that from a distance (2000ft+) is that you can see the lights flickering behind the "sails"

Hi Robby,

In the video options, try selecting "use 24-bit buffer" (or something like that), that ought to stop the flickering of the lights and "sails" :)

I've also been working on fixing the bow the problem is getting it in place, and thanks Andy and Clayton :-)

I'll double check to make sure it is on 24bit buffer :-)
