Something which I did notice is that you have not added a ships wheel in yet, If you want to make one I will add it into the ship for you

Hey Guys.


Just wanted to say sorry for the late update and release of V2 been having a few problems at the moment. I have noticed that at the moment nearly every ship from a distance the textures flicker, its not as bad as it use to be but I've done all I can to sort the flickering on the Dream & Fantasy.

hey robby how do you make ur models is it by eye?

Most of time I use pictures, I don't and a background in sketchup or a blueprint, if thats what you mean

Sadly I am un able to dix the flickering of the "sails" on the ships even with the lights moved back. It doesn't bother me and you can't really notice it unless your far away. The weird thing is it has started to flicker on most of my ships.

Update with the lights.

Flickering isn't so bad at the moment, I'm afraid she won't be perfect, unless people would rather me redo the superstructure? (will take a good few months time considering)

looking good, glad the sail suggestion worked, also it might make it easier for adding the nav lights in as well plus it may also help with fps

i think I have found the cause of the problem for the flickering, its not the lights or sails I think its from exporting the ships using 3Drad seeing as the program exports the object straight from Sketchup and not from a 3DS file.

I would use Deep Exploration to export the object but seeing as nothing scales proberly after using Deep Ex it casuses problems, even though If I do use Deep Ex it does half the boat.x file!

Same prob. with me Robby,My model gets x10 bigger in scale...Thats why I don't use Deep Ex...And 3drad works for me correctly,if u need any help regarding conversion or lights file etc be sure to contact me .. I will convert it for u ,I got my White pearl working with day and night lights i found one solution for it...I will do the conversion for u then ..
